Since 2019, I’ve been a key part of Rebike’s journey from its early days as a small start-up to becoming Europe’s leading refurbished e-bike marketplace. Through product innovation, UX improvements, and strategic growth initiatives, I helped shape Rebike into an industry leader, securing investment and driving a 2,900% increase in sales.

About Rebike Mobility

Rebike Mobility is a pioneering platform for refurbished e-bikes, offering customers high-quality, pre-owned electric bikes at a fraction of the cost of new ones. The company operates a circular business model, leasing e-bikes, refurbishing them, and reselling them through its marketplace. With a state-of-the-art refurbishment facility and strong partnerships with Decathlon and other major brands, Rebike has set new standards in the European e-bike market.

My Role at Rebike

I joined Rebike as one of the earliest tech team members, working directly with the founders to build, optimise, and scale the platform. As a Product Manager, I played a crucial role in shaping the user experience, marketplace infrastructure, and digital growth strategy.

Product Development & Platform Growth

  • Built Rebike’s digital marketplace from the ground up, ensuring seamless e-commerce functionality.
  • Led the transition from Shopware5 to a React-based frontend, improving performance and scalability.

UX/UI & Conversion Optimisation

Automated Photography Studio

  • Designed and built Rebike’s cutting-edge product photography studio, which now captures and processes thousands of e-bike images automatically.
  • Reduced photo processing time from 30 minutes to just a few minutes per bike.
