Cookbook – The Get Stuffed Project
Cooking has always been more than just a hobby for me it’s a creative outlet, a way to unwind, and something I love sharing with others. Over the years, I’ve developed over 120 recipes covering everything from traditional English comfort food to bold flavours from Mexico, India, Poland, and Asia.
I’m currently working on my first cookbook, Get Stuffed, aimed at people who might feel lost in the kitchen. The idea is to teach real, everyday food recipes that are familiar, satisfying, and surprisingly simple when broken down the right way. Using methodologies borrowed from stage lighting design, the book lays out cooking steps like cues in a show easy to follow, timed just right, and designed to build confidence. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can apply the same structure to almost any dish you like.
One of the most talked-about creations is my Jägermeister Cheesecake. It started about 15 years ago when I decided to improvise a classic New York-style cheesecake with what I had on hand which, at the time, included a bottle of Jäger. I added a cup to the filling, cooked the blueberries in brown sugar and Jägermeister, scribbled down some quick notes, and the result was unexpectedly incredible.
Unfortunately, like many great experiments, I lost the original recipe notes. For nearly a decade, I couldn’t recreate that exact flavour until one day, while cleaning out some old books, that very scrap of paper fell out. I started making it again, and now it’s one of my signature desserts.
The cookbook is still in progress, and I’m aiming to publish it in time for Christmas 2025. The biggest task ahead is photographing each dish properly so the images below are just for reference while the final food photography is still being worked on.
